Meet Lovey, our gorgeous Himalayan mix. At 9 years old, he had always been a little sensitive about being touched — something we chalked up to personality, but it turned out there was more to the story. After discovering he needed two teeth extracted, we took the opportunity to treat him to a dashing lion mane cut.
The transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. Lovey is a completely different cat — relaxed, affectionate, and so happy. He seeks out cuddles, melts into pets, and has even discovered the joy of tummy scratches. A total 180.
We have a feeling those lion cuts are going to become a regular thing since he is so much happier without so much of his (beautiful!) fur.
