Here’s what people commonly associate with different colors:

Orange (Ginger / Tabby)

Many people say orange cats are “big personalities. – often described as outgoing, affectionate, playful, and very social.

Black cats:

Frequently thought to be calm, loyal, gentle, and people-oriented. They can be very affectionate once they feel secure.

Calico (white, black, and orange):

Known for “cattitude”—confident, independent, spirited, and sometimes feisty.

Tortoiseshell (black and orange mixed):

Famous for “tortitude,” meaning bold, opinionated, energetic, and sometimes strong-willed.

Gray (Blue)

Often described as quiet, gentle, intelligent, and observant.

White

Sometimes seen as calm and elegant, though some are shy or reserved until they trust people. White cats with blue eyes have a higher chance of congenital deafness

Brown Tabby:

Often considered friendly, adaptable, curious, and easygoing.

Siamese-colored (color-point)

Usually very vocal, intelligent, affectionate, and people-focused. This is more related to breed than color.

Tuxedo:

Elegantly dressed, shy and quiet but observant.
